In Kalpa crediamo nell’importanza di trasmettere la conoscenza delle materie STEM (dall’inglese Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) ai più piccoli e lo facciamo da diversi anni con l’obiettivo di raccontare loro quali sono i diversi campi di applicazione e gli sbocchi professionali che è possibile intraprendere.
IL PROGETTO STE(A)M IT CON LA SCUOLA “PIETRO GUADO” DI SALICE TERME
Il 6 ottobre 2020 Kalpa ha preso parte all’iniziativa promossa dal progetto europeo STE(A)M IT con i bambini della scuola primaria “Pietro Guado” di Salice Terme. Il progetto nasce con lo scopo di far riflettere gli studenti sul ruolo chiave che le materie STEM ricoprono nel miglioramento delle nostre vite e sulla loro importanza per il nostro futuro.
In questo incontro virtuale le nostre colleghe Sara Davin, Le Van Quach, Camilla Carpano Maglioli ed Elena B. hanno avuto l’opportunità di raccontare come lo studio delle materie STEM abbia permesso loro di fare innovazione per contribuire al benessere sociale. Con un focus particolare sugli studi intrapresi, hanno spiegato come è nata la loro passione per le discipline scientifico-tecnologiche e come queste siano state determinanti per il loro percorso di vita.
Quello che sicuramente è emerso per loro è la consapevolezza di aver stimolato nei bambini la curiosità nei confronti della tecnologia, quella curiosità genuina che col passare degli anni li porterà a non accontentarsi e a cercare risposte concrete.
L’EVENTO STEM CON LA SCUOLA “CARDUCCI” DI PAVIA
Dopo il successo del primo evento abbiamo organizzato una seconda edizione il 16 novembre 2020 con la scuola primaria “Carducci” di Pavia, in particolare con due classi di bambini di 4° elementare. Al talk hanno partecipato i colleghi Paolo Bassi, Andrea Da Col, Matteo Fabris e Valeria Ordine.
Anche in questa occasione i bambini hanno mostrato tutto il loro entusiasmo per l’iniziativa, ponendo molte domande agli intervistati, spinti dalla voglia di conoscere di più sulle materie STEM che per alcuni di loro giocheranno un ruolo fondamentale nel percorso formativo e, chissà, anche professionale!

THE STE(A)M IT PROJECT WITH THE “PIETRO GUADO“ SCHOOL IN SALICE TERME
On 6 October 2020 Kalpa took part in the initiative promoted by the European project STE(A)M IT with the children of the primary school “Pietro Guado” of Salice Terme. The project was created with the aim of making students reflect on the key role that STEM subjects play in improving our lives and on their importance for our future.
In this virtual meeting our colleagues Sara Davin, Le Van Quach, Camilla Carpano Maglioli and Elena B. had the opportunity to tell how the study of STEM subjects allowed them to make innovation to contribute to social welfare. With a particular focus on the studies undertaken, they explained how their passion for scientific-technological disciplines was born and how these were decisive for their life path.
What has surely emerged for them is the awareness of having stimulated in children curiosity about technology, that genuine curiosity that over the years will lead them not to be satisfied and to look for concrete answers.
STEM EVENT WITH THE SCHOOL “CARDUCCI“ OF PAVIA
After the success of the first event we organized a second edition on November 16, 2020 with the primary school “Carducci” in Pavia, in particular with two classes of children of 4 year. elementary. The talk was attended by colleagues Paolo Bassi, Andrea Da Col, Matteo Fabris and Valeria Order.
Also on this occasion the children showed all their enthusiasm for the initiative, asking many questions to the interviewees, driven by the desire to know more about STEM subjects that for some of them will play a fundamental role in the training course and, who knows, even professional!
